Gemini Canvas and Audio Overviews are here
Two powerful additions to Google's Gemini.

Welcome back.
Google’s Gemini just got smarter, and way more helpful.
With Canvas and Audio Overview, it’s stepping up from a basic chatbot to more of an AI collaborator.
But will it actually make life easier?
Let’s find out.
In today’s release:
1. Google Gemini’s new tools
2. Turn photos into 3D scenes with Stability AI
3. Agentic features for Zoom’s AI Companion

Google’s Gemini gets new tools
Google just launched two new tools inside Gemini: Canvas, an interactive space for editing documents and code, and Audio Overview, which turns files into AI podcast-style discussions.
Canvas lets you create and refine text or code in real time with Gemini’s help (similar to ChatGPT Canvas). You can adjust tone, formatting, or content instantly. For coding, it even previews web apps, making iteration seamless.
Real-time editing: Adjust documents and code with AI-assisted improvements.
AI summary: Convert research, reports, or slides into engaging audio summaries.
Seamless export: Send your work from Canvas directly to Google Docs.
With these features, Gemini is more than just a chatbot, but an AI collaborator. Both tools are now rolling out to Gemini and Gemini Advanced subscribers.
How can you use this to your advantage?
If you write, code, or create content, Canvas can speed up your workflow with instant AI-powered edits and previews. Audio Overview makes it easy to absorb information on the go, turning dry reports into engaging discussions.

Stability AI’s model that turns photos into 3D scenes
Stability AI has launched Stable Virtual Camera, a model that transforms 2D images into “immersive” videos with realistic depth and perspective.
The model lets users create dynamic camera movements from a single image or a set of up to 32 images. It supports square, portrait, and landscape formats, generating up to 1,000-frame videos.
Customizable camera paths: Include Spiral, Dolly Zoom, and more.
Supports up to 32 images: For generating detailed scene perspectives.
Available on HuggingFace: Under a research-focused, non-commercial license.
You get the option to add a customizable camera path for more cinematic effects. However, Stability warns that results may degrade with humans, animals, or complex textures like water.
How can you use this to your advantage?
For creators and developers, Stable Virtual Camera offers a new way to add realistic depth and motion to images without complex 3D modelling. If you're in filmmaking, animation, or content creation, this tool could open up fresh creative possibilities.

Zoom expands AI companion with new AI features
Zoom is rolling out 45+ new AI-powered features, turning AI Companion into an agentic system that can reason, remember, and take action across Zoom’s platform.
These upgrades help users automate tasks, manage meetings, and streamline workflows. The new features include scheduling, document generation, and AI customer self-service.
Custom AI agents: Create and deploy industry-specific assistants using AI Studio.
AI-enhanced Zoom Docs: Generates structured reports, and auto-fills data tables.
AI-driven customer support: Virtual agents handle queries with reasoning & memory.
Zoom’s AI Companion will execute multi-step tasks, collaborate with third-party AI agents (like ServiceNow AI), and provide custom AI assistants tailored to specific industries.
How can you use this to your advantage?
For businesses, Zoom’s AI cuts manual work, automates follow-ups and improves productivity. Whether you're in sales, customer service, or management, AI Companion can help streamline workflows and save time on routine meeting-related tasks.
