Meta AI expands to the EU with limited features
Meta AI is finally launching in the European Union, rolling out across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. However, due to strict privacy regulations, it arrives with a more limited feature set than in the US.
Unlike its US counterpart, Meta AI in the EU has not been trained on user data due to GDPR restrictions. As a result, it functions solely as a chatbot, answering general queries in six languages, but lacks features like AI-generated images or stylistic selfies.
Limited features: No AI-generated images or personalized content.
Supported languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian.
Staggered rollout: First on WhatsApp, then other platforms.
Meta AI will work in one-on-one and group chats, allowing users to ask questions by tagging "@MetaAI" in messages. Meta says this is just the first step, hinting at future updates to align with its US version, though regulatory battles may slow that down.

If you're in the EU, Meta AI offers a built-in search tool across Meta’s apps, helping you find information quickly. However, full AI capabilities may come later, as Meta works to comply with European regulations.

Users can upload images or videos to Krea’s training platform. If you upload images, the AI learns style only, while videos allow it to capture both style and motion. Key settings like trigger prompts and step count can fine-tune the results for better accuracy.
Optimal settings: Keep steps at 250-300 to avoid overtraining.
Motion prompts: Use "dynamic movement" or "high-speed scene" for stronger motion effects.
Trigger prompt: Choose a good trigger prompt that is related to the input content.
Once training is complete, your custom style is available for Krea Video generations. You can adjust style strength and ensure smooth motion with the right prompts, giving you unprecedented creative flexibility.

Asus unveils Ascent GX10

The GX10 features 1,000 AI TOPS processing power and 128GB of unified system memory, making it ideal for training, tuning, and running massive AI models. It can reportedly handle AI models up to 200 billion parameters on its own, and when linked with another GX10, it can scale up to models like Llama 3.1’s 405 billion parameters.
